Can you trade between Pokemon Pearl and Diamond online using one DS?

I have only one DS. My brother has a Diamond version and I have a Pearl version. So we both share. We want to trade between the both of us, and decided to use the Global Trade Station. However, we are not quite sure if it is possible. What if someone else gets our pokemon, or we cannot trade from the same internet port?

    For you trade with right itd be easier for you just to find friend thatll let you just to be your brother you trade with right itd be your brother you borrow hisher ds or.

    You can do what you wanted to do and use the GTS. But make sure you do it quick because you’ll never know if someone else is just waiting for the Pokemon you just put up.
